Hey everyone! Today was another busy day in Cicero, Chicago working with ICI and all the kids that come to the camp. Running the games as station leader was super fun. It was a good day for games because the weather was super nice and we were blessed with the opportunity to go outside and play games including basketball, soccer, hockey, and many other games that the kids enjoyed. I had the kids from noon to five playing games and activities outside in the heat. Afterwards, the grandparents of Lydia and Tyson were kind enough to have all of the youth over for dinner. We ate burgers and played sand volleyball on a college campus right next to their house. As the day came to an end we went back to ICI and did a group discussion and played some games in the gym. Pray for energy and excitement to serve for these last two days because these kids really drain you.
Hello everybody! Today was day four at the ICI complex. This week was full of fun, struggles, and most importantly growth. Today was a very busy day; I am a group leader for the third and fourth grade girls. The girls are all very unique and have fun and often times sassy personalities. They love snack time and a few of them even enjoyed beating me in soccer at game time! After a long day we drove up to Tyson and Lydia's grandparents house to play volleyball and eat dinner. When we got home we had our group devotion for day four-1 John chapter 4- As we continue into our last days please pray for energy and patience so we can end the week on a high. Thanks!
