Tuesday, May 5

As you may have already heard, this morning Scioto Hills made the difficult decision to cancel all Youth Camps for the Summer of 2020. This means that in addition to the New Frontier and Alpha Camps being cancelled, our high school SEEKers program will also not be taking place this summer.

We know that this is disappointing news as camp is the highlight of the summer for so many of our students and youth SEEKers leaders.

While this summer will certainly look different, we know that our God has known what the summer of 2020 would be from the beginning, and we look forward to seeing how he plans to use all of this to deepen relationships and further his Kingdom.

While Scioto Hills is not running Youth Camps this summer, they are instead planning to offer five weeks of "Fresh Air-Fun Filled-Get Out of the House Family Camps."

You can read the full update from Scioto Hills and find more information on Family Camps HERE.

  1. What does it mean to repent? Are Christians good at this? Why/Why Not?
  2. What things do we run to? How do we value God's stuff more than we value God? (Use personal/real examples, not the "churchy" answers)
  3. When life for us starts to go back to normal, what are going to be the things that you will be tempted to run to? Will any of those things ultimately be as good as running to the Father?
  4. What things do you need to start putting into place now to keep you from running to stuff instead of the Father?
