Do you want to take the next step in your walk with God or as a regular attendee of Linworth?
We hope that you feel at home at Linworth, and that our congregation is an extension of your family. We want to come alongside you and pray with, build into and encourage you and your family as you walk with God.
Pray with Someone
Salvation is received "by faith, without deeds of the law" (Romans 3:28), as a "gift of God" (Romans 6:23), freely bestowed upon all who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ" (Acts 16:31). If you want to pray with someone to accept Christ into your heart and life, or just want to pray with someone about anything that you may be experiencing, we encourage you to contact our church office to learn more about our prayer partners.
If you are interested in learning more about becoming a member of Linworth, we encourage you to read our purpose statement, church covenant and learn more about the membership process and requirements.
We believe that baptism is the immersion of a believer in water to show forth in a solemn and beautiful emblem our identification with the crucified, buried and risen Savior, through whom we died to sin and rose to a new life (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-5). If you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior and would like to learn more about taking part in a baptismal service, please contact the church office.
We do not believe that baptism takes place at a specific age, but rather only after a person has accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. Baby Dedication is a time for parents to publicly commit themselves to raise their children in the instruction and discipline of the Lord. It is a time for family and friends to show their support and intention to help these parents with their commitment to their children. Dedications take place once or twice a year and are advertised in the weekly church bulletin.
